General Information: Goede Hoop B&B and Holiday Home is secluded Old World charm in the historic centre of Simon's Town, Cape Town, South Africa ... "Four Star accommodation at Three Star prices". We are situated in a quiet close with secure off street parking. You will enjoy the large, sheltered patio with comfortable cane furniture, stunning views across False Bay to the mountains and sunbirds drinking at the window. The small sunny, private garden has outdoor furniture, braai facilities and a view of the Admirals private beach.
From March through to 15th December (low season), we live in the main part of the house and let out the downstairs bedroom as a B&B. This has a separate entrance and is elegantly furnished with antique military chest, original paintings, twin beds, ensuite bathroom and small private garden. Breakfast is served on the Patio upstairs and guests are welcome to relax there and enjoy the spectacular views.
From 15th December through to March we let out the whole house as a Self Catering Holiday Home. This consists of:
- three bedrooms with three bathrooms
- an open plan lounge/dining room
with lovely antique furniture and paintings
- small but fully equipped kitchen
over a large serving counter, which
makes for very easy living
- large covered patio
- wonderful views over False Bay
- daily servicing by our competent
and unobtrusive maid
- mod cons: washing machine, tumble
drier, dishwasher etc.
- air conditioner in the living area
