Activities/Attractions: Poplar Park Lodge is situated on the bank of the famous Kispiox River which holds the world's record for steelhead trout caught on a fly.
We have been catering to steelheaders for almost 15 years with most fishermen returning year after year.
If you are after Chinook Salmon in July, Coho in August or Steelhead from late August until freeze up, you can find it all out our back door.
There are three guide outfitters on the Kispiox River.
We can arrange for guided fishing trips. Reservations should be made well in advance as space is limited.
There are many opportunities for the angler who likes to go it alone. Poplar Park Lodge can provide a vehicle shuttle service for floaters, plus up-to-date information on public access points and current River conditions. We also sell fishing licenses and rent boats.
General Information: Poplar Park Lodge is a working farm (certified organic) on the world famous Kispiox River in North Central British Columbia.
Whether you are an avid fisherman, a cross country skier, and adventurer or someone looking for a relaxing time on a farm, we have something for you. We can accommodate:

Our large master suite has an ensuite with a Jacuzzi tub and fireplace as well as it's own balcony with a view of the river.
We serve country style cooking and meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are scheduled for your convenience.
If you have special dietary needs, we can tailor the meals to fit almost any diet. Much of what you will eat is grown right here on our Certified Organic farm.
