Activities/Attractions: Just a short 10-minute drive from our luxury vacation rental villa is the spectacular Robert Trent Jones designed championship golf course at Playa Grande ('Pebble Beach of the Caribbean'). Enjoy Caribbean travel sightseeing in nearby Cabarete or Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic. The 20' x 26' game room houses:

several other bedrooms
- a fine selection of current and
classic movies as well as an extensive library
There are a dozen or so great restaurants within half an hour of Villa Lazy Heart, providing delicious seafood, Italian and French cuisine. The many discos and bars in the area are always packed on weekend nights, with friendly locals dancing to meringue, salsa, and the occasional American techno anthem.
Just watching the crowd
of exuberant dancers swing, sway and spin expertly to sexy Latin beats is
as fun as taking a turn on the dance floor yourself. Or, venture out to
the casinos. The odds are slightly less than in US or European casinos,
and they don't have craps tables, but a fun evening can be had watching
other tourists, full of umbrella-drinks, trying to play 21 or roulette in
Spanish!

The kitchen, in many ways the heart of the private villa, is a lovely space, open on two sides to gentle tradewinds. The spacious, 35' x 22' great room is the perfect place to entertain, with its elegant yet comfortable ambiance, a variety of amusing coffee table literature, and functioning fireplace.
There are several indoor and outdoor dining venues, including a beautiful picnic table overlooking the sea.
There is also a lighted, regulation clay tennis court with adjacent exercise kiosk featuring both machines and free-weights and a magnificent 45'x 22' heated pool surrounded by a coral stone deck, tropical flower gardens, and plenty of comfy patio furniture to lounge on.
