Activities/Attractions: Police Point is located on the Esperance Coast Road (C 638), the alternate road from Geeveston to Dover.
Breathtaking scenery awaits you from numerous prominent vistas along this route, there's a spectacular outlook around each corner. Looking north-west up the river reveals the panorama of the Huon Valley and Port Cygnet with the Snowy Range and far-away Mount Field in the background.
Towards the South-East you overlook Huon Island in the river mouth and - beyond the channel - South Bruny Island with its mountains, beaches and rocky cliffs, where seas break spectacularly in a southerly blow. Turning the corner towards the south-west you are greeted by the perfect cone of Adamson's Peak, snow-capped for part of the year. The road now follows the shores of Port Esperance along sandy beaches, shaded by huge old pine trees, until you reach the attractive fishing village of Dover. Enjoy:

General Information: Come and unwind with nature at Huon Delight Waterfront Cottage, a lovely and romantic hideaway for two in beautiful surroundings on the banks of the mighty Huon River, a scenic and picturesque 73 km (55 min) drive south of Hobart. We offer a quality, self-contained chalet with European flair, compact and cosy, in a private, sunny position with Superb panoramic views.
The cottage offers all the comforts of home, with particular attention to detail. Only 14 years old, it is decorated in European style and has been thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities you would expect at home. Just bring your food and wine, relax and enjoy! Here what is on offer:
