View the unique 1929 Spartan Biplane at the Geraldine Vintage Car and Machinery Museum, or see relics of early aviation by inventor Richard Pearse (reputed to have been airborne nine months before the Wright Brothers) in the Pleasant Point Railway Museum.

General Information: Located in South Canterbury, New Zealand and offering luxury accommodation, Kavanagh House is a splendid two-story manor built in neo-Tudor style in 1907. Our boutique lodge's renowned gourmet restaurant serves quality café style food during the day and a la carte in the evenings. The food is best described as country cuisine with flair, authentically New Zealand meals with a hint of the South Pacific.

Kavanagh House provides accommodation for the discerning traveller. A wonderfully romantic setting with opulent en suite bedrooms with private verandas overlooking the rose garden, pastureland and the mountains. All rooms have CD players in the room, and TV's on request.
