General Information: The Avonview Manor in Stratford, Ontario, Canada is a designated heritage house with beautiful stained glass windows and oak panelling. In a relaxing setting enjoy the pool, hot tub, gardens, guest kitchen, and sitting room.

Avonview Manor bed and breakfast is aptly-named as its large back lawn edges on parkland which follows the Avon River on its course through town. The entrance foyer of their attractive Edwardian home is decorated with quarter-cut oak panels and a mural which was painted at the end of the first world war.

• The Green Room has leaded and stained glass windows and a beautiful four poster bed
  
• The Rose Room has a forest-green loveseat and its queen-size four poster bed is covered with a Mennonite quilt
  
• More beautiful windows in the Blue Room with its floral quilt, queen-size bed and natural wicker furniture. Its en suite bathroom has a shower only
  
• The best view of the river is from the large Sun Room - it has 12 windows. This room is perfect for families because it has its own bathroom, four single beds (or you could arrange for a king) and a separate sitting room

"I stayed at Avonview Manor with my two daughters. We had a splendid weekend. We were treated as part of the family, and swam in the pool with the family. We had a grand breakfast in the formal dining room looking over the back yard. It is bright, cheery and a relaxing setting for a delicious breakfast and friendly conversation over coffee with other guests. The rooms are all elegant and the service and attention is superb. The upstairs kitchenette is also a quaint relaxing corner to read a book or enjoy an evening snack/ meal on your own with your family. I highly recommend this bed and breakfast and hope to return to it with my new husband in the short future."
