Obviously, you can spend the entire week riding both morning and afternoon, enjoying the company of a good horse and extraordinary scenery. You'll appreciate our wranglers and the thorough instruction provided. The all day rides will take you deep into the wilderness, often climbing above timberline. Overnight pack trips can be arranged. Beginners will be made to feel comfortable on the most gentle of horses and will be given special attention. There are a variety of other options available, including scenic day trips to such locations as historic Cripple Creek, with tours of the old gold mines and a ride on the old train. Also nearby is Pike's Peak which can be ascended by either car or cog railway (or by foot!). Other nearby attractions include the Cave of the Winds, Florissant Fossil Bed National Monument, Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and Garden of the Gods, the Cowboy Hall of Fame, the Broadmoore Motel, Royal Gorge, U.S. Air Force Academy, Olympic Training Center and more. General Information: All the guest accommodations at Tarryall River Ranch in Lake George, Colorado are within a convenient distance of the dining room, the corral and the river. Most of the cabins have two bedrooms and a private bath, some with a sitting room adjoining.
