Have a meal in our dining room or walk on the beach. The craft shop is located next to the lighthouse and operated by the Lighthouse Craft Guild. Take a pleasant stroll through the wooded trails observing wildflowers such as the beautiful and fragile lady slipper. At the adjacent Cedar Dunes Provincial Park there's camping and picnicking and the same un-crowded, unspoiled sandy beach that passes for miles in front of the lighthouse. Activities here include a playground, children's program, nature trails and interpretive program. Lifeguards are on duty. Several evenings each week there are songs and stories around a campfire. A short distance from O'Leary is the Mill River Fun Park for kids of all ages. Beside the Fun Park is Mill River Provincial Park with Golf, Tennis, Aquaplex Fitness Centre, Marina, Sports Fishing and more. Throughout the summer many festivals and events occur in our area. Here in West Point the Lighthouse Festival is held the third weekend in July. |

General Information: The West Point Lighthouse Inn is a comfortable accommodation, located in beautiful O'Leary, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Stay over night at the lighthouse and tuck yourself into one of our nine cozy guest rooms.
The Tower Room is our most popular room. It is the only guest room in the original 1875 structure. Located on the second floor of the lighthouse, it has a 12 - 13.5 foot ceiling, three windows, one with a sea view, and a large bathroom with a whirlpool tub and shower. This room also features antique furniture and a beautiful handmade quilt on the queen size bed. Across the hall is the re-created Light keepers Quarters, our largest room. It has an old-fashioned low slope roof, whirlpool bath and shower. The room is furnished with lovely antiques and includes a queen bed and a double size sofa bed. Suitable for couples and families.
