Activities/Attractions:  Minori was founded in the 7th century B.C. by the Etruscans and was later occupied by the Roman Patricians. All this is documented by the archaeological digs of the Villa Romana Maritima. The Villa Romana was built in the times of the emperor Augustus.

In the days of the Repubblica di Amalfi it was a place where many trade ships docked and sold their good off to intermediate sellers. In the year 987 it became a diocesan town.

The river Reghinna Minor flows through the center of this town. Many paper makers and millers settled along the bans of this river. It was here that the first prototypes of a dish were developed that we can’t even dream of living without these days – pasta. Back then the fresh pasta was dried in the sun in the town squares and along the “Lungomare” promenade. Back then it was especially popular to eat the pasta with different sea-foods, and that tradition is still quite popular today in Mediterranean cooking.

The cultivation of lemons already introduced during the 10th century, the production of hand made pasta, considered the best in the whole region, were the most profitable activities. The lemon trade is still today a very profitable activity, the variety of lemons called ‘Sfusato Amalfitano’ is partially exported and partially used to make the famous liquor ‘Limoncello’ of the Amalfi Coast.

The industry of hand made pasta was most flourishing till the past few decades, is now a tradition kept by the housewives. The famous ‘ricci’ from Minori, the ‘scialatielli’ and the ‘ndunderi’ are cooked according to ancient recipes, mainly during the local festivals and important occasions, and are traditions of a past that signs the history of a community.

We have 3 apartments in Minori, an enchanting village in the heart of the Amalfitan Coast, just a short distance from Amalfi, Ravello, Positano and Scala. For its geographic position, the mildness of its climate, its history and traditions, it is an ideal place for a relaxing holiday, for sightseeing and excursions by car/bus or by boat to discover and admire the incomparable beauties of the Amalfitan Coast. Apartment Amena is located in our lemon groves, in a very quite position, overlooking the sea, at about 250 meters from the main square and the beach, and accessible through a path of 35 steps and alleyways in the lemon groves. The apartment is formed by 2 bedrooms, living-dining room, kitchen, bathroom with double entrance, shower, and a spacious sea view terrace.
Apartment L'Approdo is completely renovated and elegantly furnished; located in a very central position, opposite the promenade, the beach and the main square; only 5 steps away from the road. It is a bed-sit with a kitchenette, a comfortable bathroom, bed room, a small dining area with sofa and dining table.
Apartment Villa Romana is a bed-sit, completely renovated and furnished, is located at 100 meters from the main square, from the promenade and from the beach. Full of light, it is overlooking an ancient Roman Villa dated back to the 1st century B.C., belonging to a rich roman family. This apartment is a bed-sit on two levels: the upper level is used as sleeping area, it has a double bed, wardrobe and TV
