Activities/Attractions: Angel Fire is located in the majestic Moreno Valley in Colfax County, NM, 23 miles east of Taos via US Hwy 64, and 152 miles northeast of Albuquerque. The Moreno Valley is a 15-mile long, 3-mile wide, high alpine valley.
Come to Angel Fire, where in the WINTER you can ski, snowboard or tube at the Angel Fire Resort. Off the resort you can snowshoe, snowmobile or go horseback riding.
In the SUMMER enjoy fishing at nearby Eagle Nest Lake and Monte Verde Lake, experience great golf at the scenic Angel Fire Country Club PGA Course, hike in nearby Kit Carson National Forest, mountain bike, go four-wheeling or horseback riding.

General Information: Welcome to The Bunker House and the Bunker Hill in Angel Fire, New Mexico ... located across the street from each other and can be booked together giving a sleeping capacity of about 30. This can be done for a greater savings depending on time of year and length of stay. For even larger groups, the George House is next door to the Bunker Hill and can be combined to add a capacity of 10-12 more sleeping places, accommodating about 40 total.
The Bunker House is a 4000 square foot, 5 bedroom, 4 bath home located at 8600 feet in the picturesque Angel Fire, New Mexico, ski resort. This spacious home has:
- a well equipped modern kitchen
- a great room and a large game/family room
- there are decks on both levels
- almost all the rooms have large windows that bring the
magnificent views indoors
- the Bunker House sits on a nearly one acre lot
- comfortably sleeps 15 without the use of futons,
rollaways or hide-a-beds
The Bunker Hill house is across the street from the Bunker House and is nestled in an Aspen grove. The house sits on half an acre and is a popular place for wildlife viewing from the attached gazebo.
- This 2600 square foot vacation rental has four
bedrooms, three baths and a sleeping alcove with two queen
mattresses
- "The Cave" is a perfect place for the
young'uns and for the young at heart
- There are sleeping accommodations for 14+
- The large open family area includes a living room,
dining room, family room and kitchen
- The living room features a stone wood-burning
fireplace, comfortable furniture and a large window to view
the outdoors
- There is a large sleeper sofa in this room that could
add two to the sleeping capacity
