Activities/Attractions: Visiting Brisbane is like finding yourself in an adventure wonderland. There's so much to do and see, and your every desire is catered for - from quiet strolls along the river to the adrenaline rush of skydiving.
A good way to get your bearings when you first arrive is to explore the city by foot, by river cruise or by a speedy ferry. Take in the sights and discover why the river is so central to Brisbane life. For a wider view, take a champagne breakfast balloon flight over the city, or join a day bus or 4WD tours. More unusual tours include historic walking tours, specialist art tours with fine food and wine, adventure trike tours, ghost tours and eco tours.
Animal lovers can see Australian wildlife up close at Lone Pine or Alma Park Zoo. For the outdoors types, head out to sea on a fishing charter, or set sail on a sailing tour or cruise of Moreton Bay. And exploring nearby North Stradbroke and Moreton Island's beaches by 4WD is a must.
Salisbury is a southern suburb of Brisbane, located approximately 9km from the CBD. The suburb provides easy access to surrounding amenities like the QEII Hospital, ANZ Stadium, Griffith University. The Salisbury Train Station makes travelling to and from the CBD hassle-free.
There are plenty of great dining options in and around Salisbury. If you’re looking for a local café, take-away, pub or restaurant you’ll find it here. There’s the ALDI shopping centre on the corner of Kessels and Orange Grove Roads, Central Fair Shopping Centre on Creek Road at Mount Gravatt and Garden City isn’t far away. If you’re after groceries or something more interesting, this is a great area to shop in.

All our rooms are fully furnished with linen provided, and each room also has a private ensuite. All rooms have connections for your laptop or PC with cable Internet provided at no extra cost.
The Salisbury train station is less than 2 minutes walk and is 20 minutes from the City, for transfer to the University of Queensland in St Lucia or the QUT Kelvin Grove and Gardens Point campuses. Buses to Griffith University's Nathan and Mt Gravatt campuses are within 2 minutes walk also, and the journey is under 10 minutes.
