Located on the Tasman Peninsula in the far south of Tasmania, Port Arthur began operating in 1830 as a timber station. It became a prison settlement for male convicts in 1833. It is a unique piece of Australian history and a must see.
Guest's activities include visiting the beautiful Historic Site, exploring the numerous bush walks, riding horses or simply relaxing in the beautiful garden surroundings. Four Star Fully Self Contained Villas set in the picturesque setting of Port Arthur, Tasmania, Australia - nestled on the Tasman Peninsular, about 100km south-east of Hobart. The villas are located next door to the Historic Site and are immaculately presented, providing guests with heat pumps for warmth and comfort.
In a magnificent garden setting, our villas are ideally situated over the road from the Port Arthur Historic Site. We can arrange a lantern light Ghost Tour, a two day pass to the Historic Site, including a guided tour and harbour cruise, or arrange a table to complete a perfect day at a nearby restaurant or bistro with fine dining. With modern accommodation, clean and up to date facilities second to none, and courteous staff willing to advise you on all items of interest, we are sure your stay with us will be a success.

"We absolutely loved the visit to Port Arthur equally our two day stay at The Port Arthur villa's. Wally was very helpful and an excellent host, he even booked our ghost tour prior to our arrival. The Villas were lovely and clean and the location was a stone's throw from the Port Arthur Site, we received our room key and a gate key for entrance to the site on arrival.
