Activities/Attractions: Dalyan is small town on the south-western coast of Turkey ... 25 km from the International  Dalaman Airport. Set in the center of a broad delta, whose natural beauty remains unspoilt. Dalyan is established in an environmentally protected area. This is one of the few surviving places of paradise, an area of natural beauty interest.

Since 1989 Turkey has taken steps towards the conservation of wildlife and one of the most important of these protected areas is Dalyan. The village has therefore retained its natural charm and beauty ... a haven for relaxation, that has blossomed to cater for the serious travellers. This is definitely a unique destination full of culture, charm, history and contrasting beauty, excellent cuisine and unforgettable hospitality.

On the outskirts of Dalyan are rich green fields turning into hill slopes and mountain ranges. The weather in Dalyan is generally pleasant with especially warm and sunny summers. Fishing is a popular activity with tourists and locals with Bass being available in Lake Koycegiz.

Dalyan is 25 kilometres from Dalaman airport and close to beaches, on a riverfront and near lakes and mountains. It is in a Unesco World Heritage park and is a protected environment.

Built in the shape of a precious stone, Dalyan Jewel offers panoramic views of the countryside from it's beautifully carved wooden 'Shark', which is set at the rear of the property and allows you to watch the sunset at the end of the day in peace and harmony.

"Dalyan jewel is the ultimate holiday destination. The owners have spared no expense in furnishing and equipping the villa to the highest standard. The beds are blissfully comfortable and the decor tastefully luxurious. Whilst swimming in the pool or relaxing in the "shark", one is surrounded by the sound of birds and the grandeur of the mountains. If you can manage to tear yourself away from the villa (although I am sure you could spend a happy holiday without venturing outside), there are many attractions to fill your days. Beautiful beaches, forest walks, ruins of Caunos, Lycian rock tombs, stunning sunsets, boat trips, Turkish baths, masseurs, barbers, natural mud baths, thermal springs, markets, shops, very reasonably priced restaurants and charming and friendly people. These are just a few of the attractions we experienced during our very memorable holiday at the wonderful Dalyan Jewel."
