Activities/Attractions: A picturesque town with forests and mountains to the North and West, and the Irish Sea to the East, Arklow boasts the longest arch bridge in Ireland (19 arches in total). There are two sandy beaches on the North and South shores of the river Avoca.

Arklow today is renowned as a vibrant, busy shopping and tourism town in County Wicklow. It boasts a range of crafts for which it is well-known, such as knitting, pottery and woodturning, but the town also has an interesting past.

If you are a mad rugby fanatic (as many of our visitors are), we are less than an hour from Landsdowne and Croker for the matches. Or should a day at the races be more your liking, Leopardstown is 40 mins drive and Punchestown and the Curragh just a little bit further. Additional amenities include:

General Information: Welcome to probably the best located B&B on these shores ... The Arklow Bay 'Orchard'  Bed and Breakfast is ideally located in Arklow, Co. Wicklow, Ireland beside the town centre, shopping mall, nature reserve, beach, swimming pool & gym and the Arklow Bay Hotel with it's great bar food, restaurant and night entertainment.

This friendly B&B is ideal for short breaks, business trips, family holidays and offers self-catering facilities for families and groups. Use our home as a base for exploring the breath taking scenery of the Wicklow Hills and Glendalough. Dublin airport is 50 minutes drive north of Arklow and Rosslare is just 1 hour south, ideal for our 'Ferry' visitors from the UK and mainland Europe. We have extensive knowledge of where to go in Ireland and are only to happy to point you in the right direction should you wish to travel on. B&B features include:
