Activities/Attractions: Cannon Beach was ranked number seven of the "World's Best Beaches" by the Travel Channel. This vacation destination has a little bit of everything, along with a whole lot of beautiful ocean. The entire town lies parallel to a scenic beach that features the famous Haystack Rock. Cannon Beach is also home to Ecola State Park, one of the most beautiful scenes in all of Oregon. If you haven't seen this amazing state park, we suggest you visit soon, and don't forget your camera.

From Ecola State Park you can view Oregon's Coast as far as the eye can see. You also have a terrific vantage point on the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse, located one mile out to sea. While in town you can visit:

"If you can't find time in your schedule for that trip to France this year, a stay at St. Bernard's will provide a reasonable facsimile. Although the setting, just off U.S. 101 between Cannon Beach and Manzanita, won't convince you that you're in Provence, the building itself is as grand a manor house as any in France. "We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Arch Cape House. We stayed in the Tower room, which was beautifully furnished with a great view of the ocean. We loved the fireplace and the deep soaking tub!! Breakfast is a definite highlight -- A three course meal that is to die for! Barbara is an awesome cook and a wonderful hostess! We took advantage of the evening social hour on Saturday night, as we arrived too late on Friday night for this. It was nice to have a some wine by the fireplace and enjoy the company of others that were staying at the inn. We loved every minute of our stay at the Arch Cape House! Wish we could have stayed longer! We will be back!!"
