Activities/Attractions: Although 24 Riviere Private Game Farm is newly developed in 2005, there is already a variety of game on the 1100 ha. sized farm. A number of Giraffes and Zebra's populate the farm with many Kudu's. And of course the plain game species travel over the whole area: Warthogs, Jackal, Hyena's, Leopard, Duiker, Steenbuck, Bushbuck, Antbear, Porcupine, Caracal, Serval, etc. and many beautiful Birds can be spotted on the farm also. The Waterberg offers several worthwhile excursions to various places. Let us assist you with planning your trips.

• the Rhino Museum of Clive Walker where you can feed the Rhino
  
• the Waterberg Museum is situated there
  
• a game drive to a White Lion Breeding Project
  
• game drives on the farm are included but why not take  a big-5 tour in the Waterberg area. It's possible by game-viewer but also on horseback
  
• go on a beautiful hiking trip on 24 Riviere and be in the bush as close as you can get. Also in the area are magnificent trails for one or even more days are available
  
• rent a quad-bike and just discover 24Riviere in the open

General Information: Welcome to 24Riviere Private Game Lodge in Limpopo, South Africa ... only a 2½ hour drive from Johannesburg Int'l Airport close to the little town of Vaalwater (Mabatlane). The farm is located on top of a mountain in the malaria free Waterberg Biosphere. The atmosphere and beauty of this last undiscovered piece of South Africa, the silence of nature and at the same time the sounds of it, gives you the well deserved rest that you are looking for. Enjoy the typical African Bush or open Savannah with its beautiful views and spectacular sunsets that you see during a game drive or from your private lodge.

Staying in one of the different types of accommodation you will experience nature at his best. And although your stay will be in the bush or the mountains, luxury and comfort are there, accompanied by excellent food. The Mountain Lodges are built in and out of the mountains with rocks and thatched roofs. These Rondavel designed lodges have cool day temperature and nice warmth at night. The spacious lodges are finished and furnished in style to provide you with comfort and luxury.

"Thank you for the Royal treatment, we felt like we were visiting friends but treated as kings, the food was superb, the lodge is absolutely stunning and very stylishly decorated, no expenses was spared, the hospitality was true to the warm African sun and we enjoyed every moment and the day didn't stop with the spectacular sunsets from the deck or somewhere on the farm being treated to a sunset drink and snack, Henk and Maryetta really went out of their way to let us feel at home and no request is to big a task not even building a boma for a braai. The boma is a winner and the braai was too. Thanks again and good luck with all your future plans, we'll definitely be checking in to see how you're doing. I can recommend 24Riviere to anyone who needs some seriously pampering and peace and quiet ... definitely worth a visit."
