Host: Cassie and Archie Bouverie Guestrooms: 4 Address: 9b Scotland Street, Edinburgh, EH3 6PP Scotland Click here for location. Telephone: 0131-556-5080 Fax: 0131-556 0428 Activities/Attractions: Edinburgh is the breathtakingly beautiful capital of Scotland, an exciting place to visit at any time of year. Edinburgh offers you:
New Town, which is one of Britain's architectural gems, remains largely residential today, thus providing Edinburgh with a living heart. To the north, between the Castle and the Firth of Forth, the spectator has his first glimpse of Edinburgh's new town - still called that despite the fact that it was created in the eighteenth century. The New Town is by far the largest area of Georgian architecture in Europe, and the visitor should ensure that he or she takes a stroll through these gracious squares and tree-lined crescents. "Just a line to say how much we enjoyed our w/e with you in Edinburgh. We loved the house, the relaxed atmosphere, comfy beds and the fab kitchen (I did spend 20 mins in it on Sat night pretending it was mine, on the face of it, making a cup of tea for my colleague). Easy access to lots of things meant that we saw loads in just a two night's stay. My colleague was impressed with my choice, so brownie points there. May just return with my husband for a pre Christmas shop/theatre break. Thanks too to the helpful and relaxed service from Elena." "Thank you for your hospitality. It impressed me. I'll remember your heart warming atmosphere, comfortable room, big breakfast and especially your smiling!! I really enjoyed my travelling and would like to visit Edinburgh again and hope to see you someday. Scotland is fascinating !!! Take Care." "My boyfriend and I stayed at your b&b on either side of Easter weekend. I just wanted to thank you again and tell you how lovely it was staying at 9b Scotland St. Although our stay was very short, it was the one place on our fast paced trip that felt like a home away from home for me. Everything was very comfortable and well done. I also loved Edinburgh, it reminded me of a big Greenwich Village. I look forward to seeing you all again on our next visit. Oh and Cassie .. May I have your museli recipe?" "A big thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness & hospitality during our short stay in Edinburgh. We will always look back on our stay here with the fondest of memories!" "Thank you so much for your hospitality during my first visit to Scotland. I cant wait to return. Iain and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at your warm, welcoming Bed and Breakfast and we look forward to returning very soon. I have fallen in love with Scotland and feel very homesick already! You have a special gift for making others feel welcome, thank you for such a good time." "I recently had to work in Edinburgh for 9 months. After trying several B&B's I came across "Edinburgh Bed & Breakfast". Archie and Cassie were both welcoming and charming. The cooked breakfasts were to die for, and the use of the kitchen in the evening to make light snacks made it feel like home from home." "We have really enjoyed our first visit to Edinburgh. Thank you very much for looking after us at 9B Scotland Street Best wishes." |

I thought I should mention your housekeeper Bridget who warmly welcomed us on our arrival and enjoyed coffee together before we unpacked. All our touristy questions were answered quickly with a positive outcome, and the cooked breakfast was fantastic. In short our stay was a great one and we thank Bridget for making us feel at home in Edinburgh." "My uncle Paul and I really enjoyed staying at your Bed & Breakfast. It was my first time staying at a B&B and it couldn't have been nicer! The rooms were lovely and the food was delicious. If I ever hear of anyone needing accommodations in Edinburgh, I will definitely recommend you, and I will make sure to only send nice people your way. Thank you." "Just wanted to thank you all for taking such good care of the Aussies ... they loved your B+B and said the beds were really comfortable, the breakfasts were excellent, and that it was a wonderful base from which to see Edinburgh ... so thanks very much!" "Thanks so much for making our stay so good. Am returning the paperback that I have now finished. Had a good trip back and now planning our next year's visit.
