Activities/Attractions: Ucross and its surrounding area is rich in the history of the west. Many western writers, sculptors, artists and craftsmen make this area home for just that reason. There’s a little something for everyone at The Ranch at Ucross.

At The Ranch at Ucross there is lots of self-directed fun for kids. All ranch activities except hunting are available for children. It's a great place for a kid to be a kid - watch them build a fort in the willow trees, hunt for fossils on the hillside, or catch frogs by the pond. Better yet, join them!

• catch a big Brown or Rainbow in Piney Creek or our stocked trout pond

When evening rolls around, it’s time to relax. Find a place on our big front porch and watch the sunset turn the hills purple. Some guests join an old-time sing-a-long led by the mellow voice of professional musician George Kleppinger. Others don’t leave their peaceful spot on the porch until the dinner bell rings. General Information: Welcome to the Ranch at Ucross in Clearmont, Wyoming! We have a variety of room types,  choose from western decor of our Willow Cabins, the cozy charm of our restored Ranch House Rooms, or the great views of the Piney Creek and Cottonwood rooms. The Hunting Lodge, with its six bedrooms and spacious great room, is perfect for large groups.

The Willows cabins feature western décor and views of the horses grazing in the back pasture. Ranch House rooms are perfect for those who love the unique feel of historic Bed and Breakfasts. The Piney Creek rooms have private balconies that overlook our trout stream and wildlife habitat of the hills beyond the ranch. All rooms are comfortable and immaculate. Some have sitting rooms and all have modern baths with shower/tub combination. Features include:

Excellent food is served buffet style most nights. We offer wonderful beef, chicken and trout selections nightly. Breakfast includes selections for healthy and hearty eaters alike. Our full service bar features premium liquor and a fun selection of local microbrews.

When you enter your room there is a bunny on the bed to welcome you. He'll sleep with you for the night but you can purchase him at the onsite Gift Shop. The Ranch at Ucross is perfect for small group meetings and retreats. Conference season runs from October to May. Warm fires, wonderful food, and attentive service frame your work time.
